How do we know you’ll turn up ?
Firstly, most people come to us through recommendation or seeing us at someone elses event – so that speaks for itself! We always attend in 15 years we havent missed a disco yet ! We ask for an initial deposit to ‘secure the date ‘ and then you’ll keep hearing from us !! We always confirm the bookings and will talk to you 6 weeks before the event and then just to make sure confirm it again 1 week prior.
Your prices seem higher than some other disco’s ?
Well in some cases they will be ! – We operate with fully licensed software all our music and videos are licensed downloads, we have fairly new and modern equipment. In our opinion a great sound and light show, which is all fully PAT safety tested and we have £10m Public liability insurance. We’ve seen other discos turn up with 2 or 3 lights on a T bar -….Just make sure you are comparing “apples with apples” – you only get one go at creating that ‘ WOW ‘ ! impression !! As far as the video disco goes we believe we are cheaper than most of our competition ! but ultimately you ‘get what you pay for ‘ !
How much do you charge?
Firstly, we give you a good indication on our prices page. But each event is different, and it depends on what other items you might want – eg some weddings want us to provide background piano music whilst the main reception is running and wireless mics for the speeches, some want the room completely uplighting and washed with colour to match their colour scheme etc – But a great starting point is our prices page – when comparing us – see how many others actually list their prices upfront – nearly all hook you in with just send us an email to find out !…. ! We are so confident in our service that we are happy to list our upfront!
Can we request certain songs to be played ?
Absolutely ! – In fact we welcome any input or choices on music you have, the more the merrier ! – The event is your event so feel free to tell us what music tracks you want playing, from specific tracks to ‘ just want a section on motown ‘ etc its up to you ! As a rule it is better to request say, 15-20 songs, and let the DJ use his expertise to compile the rest of the music list, basing his programme on the styles of the music that you have specifically requested.
Although you can specify every song, bear in mind that this gives the DJ no flexibility if your guests don’t dance to the songs you like. We guarantee to play your requests, provided they are currently available on UK release.
Our venue has asked for PLI information ?
Thats fine we can email them a copy of our Public Liability Insurance – we are covered for £10m – but lets hope we never need to use it ! All our equipment is also PAT tested for electrical safety as well
